Germany and Switzerland, July 25 – August 17
Taita Edwin Dorado, indigenous of the Yanakona, along with his wife Wendy Galindo and their children Yupanki and Celeste, will be visiting us from the jungle of Putumayo, Colombia. They will share their art, music, cosmovision, rituals, and sacred plants with us.
We have known each other for four years now - making travel plans for some time already 😊✨🐣.
As humans and through their work, they continually help us see things with heart and humor.
Munay Artesanía and biubiu are working together since the beginning – many of you are already familiar with their handicrafts. And some of you know the family and their ceremonial work from your travels to Putumayo, Colombia.
We are very happy to welcome them to Germany and Switzerland now for the first time 😊
Together we:
🌱Harmonizing physical, spiritual, and energetic bodies with the help of plants
🌈Talk: Yanakona and Andean Cosmovision
🎶Medicine Music workshop and concert
🧵Handicraft workshop and market
🧘🏾Sweat Lodge – Tulpa de encuentro
💆🏾Chiropractic therapy according to Inka tradition
Taita Edwin Dorado began his path of plant medicine as a child. He was introduced to the path of traditional medicinal plants and music as medicine by his father, Javier, and learned the ancient knowledge from Taita Mayor Querubín Queta Alvarado, the highest authority of the indigenous Cofan people (guardians of the Yagé).
His wife, Wendy Galindo, began her journey with medicinal plants 10 years ago and accompanies Taita Edwin in various traditional ceremonies. She weaves protective handicrafts according to ancient traditions.
We’re soooo looking forward to this reunion, and even more so if you can join us!
