Who are the magicians behind biu?

Biu collaborates with local entrepreneurs from Acre in Brazil, Putumayo in Colombia and Imbabura in Ecuador. Most of them are local shops, we will share more about soon. And some of them have online visibility:

Hapéh from Yawanawá village Mutum
The hapeh is made by different members of Mutum village at Gregorio river in Acre, Brazil. Many of them are on Social Media. Hushahu Yawanawa, Rasu Yawa, Hukena, Mew. We collaborate with them via Floresta de dentro and Arteamaríndia

Bien Hecho en Peguche
Hoodies and T-Shirts with mainly Native American look, are made by indigenous artisans from Otavalo. Find them on Instagram.

Artesanía Mujer Araña
Yuly Marcela Dorado Cordoba, indigentes Yanacona. She creates many of the earrings, bracelets, necklaces, colibris and guacamayos. Find her on Facebook.

Paintings from Roberto Carlos Imbacuan
Is a local artist from Mocoa in Putumayo, Colombia. He belongs to the Pastos. Find him on Facebook.
